Our recent client’s
network consisted of three workstations (one being a laptop) and a standalone server. Their equipment and wiring were everywhere.
We started by implementing a business-class
network security firewall: a SonicWALL SOHO, followed by two Ubiquiti US-48-500W. We added additional ports for their future PoE IP security cameras — both units and firewall configured with multiple VLANs for network traffic optimization. We adjusted their on-premises wireless with proper security measures and multiple SSIDs and segregated on their own VLANs for guest traffic.
Their server consists of a RAID setup. We always recommend having an on-site/off-site backup. Redundancy is a must. We have also upgraded their existing Quickbooks system to the latest version by setting it up to a multi-user platform.
We helped the client in getting their Nortel Call Pilot 150 phone system back online — got them up and running the same day!
In Newport Beach, upgraded to Windows 10 from Window 7 – Deployment
The client had a tight budget for their 50 workstations and wanted to move off of Windows 7. We came up with a strategy for hardware upgrades for their existing machines. With using roaming profiles and storing their user data on the servers, we only had to upgrade the workstations.
We upgraded Dell OptiPlex 3020 Small Form Factor machines from 4gb memory modules to 8GB. We also upgraded disks using Samsung Solid State Drives EVO family line.
In Tustin, deployment of 25 8×8 VoIP Polycom phones and virtual office softphone for laptop users
Phones all powered by Cisco POE gigabit
network switch. Implementation of auto attendant, hunt group, and extension programming.
In Los Angeles, upgraded DSL speed
One of our clients in Los Angeles has a DSL line with a max speed of 3.5mbps. There is no internet service provider capable of providing them with a higher speed, including their current provider. They reached out to us, and we were able to get any speed that they required into their building.
